Berkley PowerBait has become the best seller for Fishing Artificial Bait on Amazon, and has so many choices to choose from; colors, sizes and shapes. But the most reviewer's choices are Mice Tails and Honey Worm.

Every lake has its own colors that works. One said that pink and white are their aces for trout, yellow and orange for Panfish, and the glow white for dusk/night fishing for Catfish. Chartreuse and rainbow are also recommended.

Overall, pink and yellow work the best. Try different colors if yours isn't working, the more color you get the better because it also depends on the day.

If you decided to try the Mice Tails (the one being displayed), use a single hook (size 8) and test to see if the Mice Tail can float with it. If yes then let it do the rest. Remeber that it doesn't come with hooks, so you have to prepare jigheads or plain hooks yourself.

The Honey Worm works almost as well as live worms but last much longer. Though it will eventually lose the worm scent and become less effective over time, but that's to be expected after a long time use. These work very well for Panfish of all kinds like Bluegill, Red Breasted Sunfish, Perch and Crappie. These also work well for children to learn to bait their own hooks, especially when they don't like live bait.

The Power Eggs are a better option to Salmon Eggs and (in a lot of cases) better than their dough bait. They're durable and versatile, they won't rip off like a worm or dough bait when you cast it. Use egg hooks rather than traditional hooks for trout. Mix-and-match contrasting colors if you think the trout are responding to different colors like white-lime, white-yellow, white-pink.

The power nuggets seem to float the best. The frogs are fun and fish of all sizes will attack them. That being said, there are so much more that you can choose and every one of them are worth a try!
